New product names for VG products

The hitherto existing products Administrative Borders VG250 and VG1000 will be renamed as Administrative Areas VG250 and VG1000.

The data will not be changed for their content and structure.

For the sake of an immediate availability they will be classified into versions with number of inhabitants (VG250-EW / VG1000-EW) and those without (VG250/VG1000).

The annually updated Administrative Areas will be offered as soon as possible after the reference dates 31 December and 01 January in the product VG250/VG1000.

After having collected the numbers of inhabitants the dataset will be completed accordingly and offered as products VG250-EW/VG1000-EW with the reference date 31 December.
