Product Update for Geographical Names products "GN250" and "GN1000"

The data files are immediately available as new version “31.12.2007”. 

The dataset covers the names of towns, communes and their fractions (selection) and other geographical features such as landscapes, mountains, islands, rivers and canals, lakes and Germany’s ocean areas.

For the product GN250 the features have been selected in reference to the map scale 1:250 000. 

The product GN1000 is limited to the names of towns and communes. The data include among others coordinates for the objects, object keys like local key, number of inhabitants, areas and some more attributes.
