The Newtonian mass attraction of the atmosphere on the gravimetric sensor is computed based on the spatial variation of air density derived from operational weather models of DWD. The atmospheric correction is significantly enhanced compared to the usual reduction using local air pressure records allowing the detection of small signals in gravimetric time series. Presently, daily updated time series with a temporal resolution of 6 hours are provided for the European stations of GGP (Global Geodynamics Project).
