Introduction

Dear Sir or Madam,

The map and sheet indexes of the Historical Topographic Maps provide you with all information about the maps available from the “Bundesamt für Kartographie und Geodäsie” on the scales 1 : 25.000, 1 : 100.000 and 1 : 300.000. These topographic maps are reprints from the holdings of the former „Reichsamt für Landesaufnahme“ (Reich’s Agency for Surveying) of the German Reich and can be delivered only if contained in the sheet indexes of this map index and the relevant listings, respectively. They include different statuses of revision. The map sheets adjoining to the west of the Topographic Map 1 : 25.000 are distributed by the „Landesvermessungsämter“ (Land Survey Offices) or related institutions of the individual Länder (states of the Federal Republic).

With the publication of this map index the previous one becomes obsolete.

The prices indicated are understood as inclusive of VAT and are binding. Changes and errors excepted.
