Official Topographic Maps for the Federal Republic of Germany

The CD ROM “Top200 Bundesrepublik Deutschland” is based on the nationwide raster data files of the TÜK200 and is a component of the 14-part series “Top50/Top200” from the German National Survey.

Using the CD ROM Top200 you are able to scroll with your mouse over the seamless territory between the North Sea and the Alps, between the rivers Rhein and Oder, to get an exact position over place names, and you may even interactively fly over the Federal Republic of Germany.

A digital terrain model depicts illustratively the relief of the terrain as a height profile or even as 3D (when using the enclosed 3D spectacles). With the drawing functions and bitmaps offered you will be able to produce your own thematic map.

Using the GPS interface you may exchange waypoints, routes and tracks with GARMIN GPS receivers.

State of topicality is not less than for analogous maps. Period of update: 2-5 years.
