Introduction

The Bundesamt für Kartographie und Geodäsie (Federal Agency for Cartography and Geodesy) publishes in cooperation with the Working Committee of the Surveying Authorities of the States of the Federal Republic of Germany (AdV)

• small-scale general topographic maps

• CD-ROMs

• Historical Topographic Maps as reprints originating from the stocks of the former "Reichsamt für die Landesaufnahme des Deutschen Reiches" (Reich Office for Land Survey).

If you are interested in up-to-date / historical large-scale map series covering the territory of the Federal Republic of Germany (scales 1:100,000, 1:50,000, 1:25,000 or 1:10,000 and larger), please contact the responsible Landesvermessungsämter (Land survey offices) or the relevant institutions of the single "Bundesländer" (states of the Federal Republic).
